Milestones

As summer came to a close, the kids started school. Melayna our youngest, started Kindergarten. I was a hot mess on her first day. My last baby no longer a baby anymore.  Tristan is in 3rd grade now and in the Gifted Magnet Program. The older two are in middle school and leave later than the younger two, so I had no pictures of them from their first day.

Another milestone recently, is Melayna getting her ears pierced for the first time. She was such a trooper and didn't cry or anything. She picked out butterfly earrings.

Finally, some good news. Scott had an MRI of his brain. He has to do it every three months to check for any regrowth. 

Basically, there isn't any new regrowth. News we want to hear. We've been told it could happen at any time, but the radiation and chemo should keep it at bay for a while. Regrowth could mean surgery and alternative chemo treatments. His next scan is set for December. In the meantime, we'll keep living life the best we can.
